Health care workers protest service integration

Greater Sudbury health care workers, concerned that the Ontario government's plan for Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) will diminish patient care, will be picketing outside of MPP Rick Bartolucci's downtown office tomorrow at 12:30 pm.

Greater Sudbury health care workers, concerned that the Ontario government's plan for Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) will diminish patient care, will be picketing outside of MPP Rick Bartolucci's downtown office tomorrow at 12:30 pm.

Similar protests will be taking place all over the province tomorrow including the Ottawa office of Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty.

Through the LHINs, the government proposed massive changes to health service delivery but health care workers say they were not consulted over how these changes will affect access to care.
