The Sudbury health unit said it is relocating several of its health services to accommodate changes at its Paris Street building because of renovations.

Starting Aug. 22, Public Health Sudbury and Districts (PHSD) is relocating some of its services related to the main office at 1300 Paris Street. This is all part of the renovations underway at the main office.

PHSD said most Public Health’s direct client Clinical Services, which includes immunization, breastfeeding, and oral health clinics, will be relocated from the ground floor to the second floor at the 1300 Paris Street site.

The health unit also said the Environmental Health Services office will be relocated from the temporary office location at 1855 Lasalle Boulevard to the second floor at the 1300 Paris Street site.

This includes services for clients who need to meet with a public health inspector, such as for a consultation for food premises, septic system, small drinking water systems, air quality, housing, West Nile disease, Lyme disease, or rabies.

Anyone picking up water sample bottles or submitting a water sample analysis will continue to go to the Public Health Ontario lab at 1300 Paris Street.

Anyone not certain of where regular services are located can check the PHSD website or telephone 705 522-9200.
