Rainbow's finances better than expected. Why the school closures?

School board says it's losing $4 million in provincial funds, and will have to draw on its reserves until savings from closures fully realized. For the full story, click here.

Wolves take two points against Steelheads:

While it looked like the Mississauga Steelheads had the Sudbury Wolves on the ropes, the Pack battled back and secured a victory, but they had to do it in a shootout. For the story, click here.

Westbound lane on Kingsway closed until end of March: 

Due to bore drilling work, one lane of traffic will be closed on Anderson Drive on Monday, Jan. 16 until Friday, Jan. 27. Work will be completed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. One lane of traffic will be maintained.
