If you’re wondering which city services will be operating on Victoria Day Monday and which won’t, wonder no longer.
The following municipal services will be closed to the public on Victoria Day, which is Monday, May 19:
- Tom Davies Square
- Landfill and waste transfer sites
- Citizen Service Centers and libraries
- Municipal pools and fitness facilities
- Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter
That’s not to say nothing is open though. The Recycling Center will be open. The holiday also will not affect the collection of garbage, recycling and green carts, so if your regular garbage day is Monday, don’t forget to put your trash and recyclables by the road.
GOVA routes will follow holiday service schedules on May 19.
City social media accounts are not monitored regularly during weekends and statutory holidays.
