For the fourth year in a row, the New Sudbury Centre will join forces with Big Brothers Big Sisters to celebrate the uniqueness of every girl across Canada with a national BeYou campaign.

The campaign runs from Sept. 16-22 and the New Sudbury Centre will have free events and programming at New Sudbury Centre from 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept.18 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.

This year’s campaign will include an exciting line up of National Ambassadors who support the BeYou message and believe in the power of raising up young girls.

“As a mother of teen girls and a voice in the female body positivity space, I am so proud to be part of the 2019 BeYou campaign to help create awareness and do my part to raise up our young girls so they feel confident to achieve their goals," said Sarah Reynolds of @thebirdspapaya.

Families who are not able to attend a live event are encouraged to visit the robust resource page at BeYouGirl.ca, which is filled with helpful and inspiring information, content and connections to help young girls build confidence and believe in themselves.

“New Sudbury Centre is very proud to bring back the BeYou campaign once again in hopes of reaching out to even more young girls in Greater Sudbury with this inspiring message," said Brenda Folz, marketing director.

"We are excited to be offering a series of events that will bring girls together to celebrate their individuality as well as connecting these girls to powerful resources that will support them in reaching their dreams.”

New Sudbury Centre BeYou workshops and entertainment are as follows:
