The late winter weather is taking its toll on area roadways, but the Sudbury detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police said Monday drivers are generally taking precautions and avoiding collisions.
But one snow plow driver got stuck on the railway tracks and closed Highway 537 just outside of Greater Sudbury for 30 minutes, the OPP tweeted.
"Weather continues to wreak havoc but Sudbury detachment doing well in terms of lack of crashes," the tweet said.
The late season snap is expected to ease this week, with highs above 10 C expected by the weekend.
