On Saturday, January 31st, 2004, the French River Snow Devils will be hosting the Snowarama for Easter Seals Kids.

This event is proudly endorsed by the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) and will begin at 10 am from the OwlÂ?s Nest Lodge in French River. The North East Region S.A.V.E. Team, members of the Noelville OPP Detchment and the French River S.T.O.P. officers will also be participating in this event. The day will end at the OwlÂ?s Nest Lodge with presentations and draws for prizes.

Combining the thrill of riding 100 or more kilometres of picturesque OFSC groomed snowmobile trails across Ontario with making a difference in the life of a child with a physical disability is what attracts numerous snowmobile enthusiasts to participate each winter in the Snowarama for Easter Seals Kids.

More than 20,000 children, youth and young adults across Ontario may never get to experience the joy and freedom of riding a snowmobile. By raising pledges, the Easter Seals funds disability solutions through financial assistance, summer camp, the Recreational Choices funding program, research, advocacy and public and consumer education. It helps families meet the costs of essential equipment needs and services.
