The event, which takes place at the college's student centre from 12 to 1:30 pm, is open to the public.

Olsson was a member of a family of strict Hasidic Jews living in a small town in Hungary when the war started. On June 14, 1944, the woman and her family were put into boxcars and shipped to Auschwitz.

She was later taken to Bergen-Belson, which was liberated in April 1945 by British and Canadian troops. Almost her entire extended family, 87 in all, fell victim to the Nazis.

After the war, she met and married Rude Olssen and moved to Canada. Today, the woman shares her wartime experiences with audiences across the province. She is the author of a self-published book called Unlocking the Doors: A Woman's Struggle Against Intolerance.
