The operational review steering committee for the Sudbury Regional Hospital held its second meeting Tuesday to review work done to date since the operational review process got underway in December.
Three working groups have been established. The clinical working group, financial working group and capital project working group have been meeting since December.
The consultants informed the steering committee work is underway to review and analyse data provided by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and Sudbury Regional Hospital.
"The consultants will not only examine the hospital's clinical and financial performance, but must also look at how that performance compares with similar institutions in the province," said Jean-Paul Aube, chair of the committee.
