Dr. Avi Friedman, architect and professor and McGill University will be making a free presentation at the Cambrian College eDome Friday at 7 pm, on how neighbourhoods and homes can be built to foster healthy, active living.
Friedman will discuss how urban planning and architectural design can have a positive impact on increasing physical activity levels and decreasing obesity rates.
The professor will also speak to urban planning professionals and educators Friday.
