Health Sciences North, and its affiliate the Health Sciences North Research Institute, are ranked among Canada’s Top 40 Research Hospitals for a sixth consecutive year by RE$EARCH Infosource.
"We are very proud of this accomplishment as a leading academic health sciences centre, at the core of Northern Ontario’s innovation health cluster," said HSN in a news release.
"This cluster includes Laurentian University, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, Lakehead University and the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and its research institute.
HSN is committed to research focussed on finding solutions to the health care issues facing the people of Northeastern Ontario. Our research is focused on four key priorities, including cancer solutions, healthy aging, cardiovascular health and Indigenous health."
