Some 250 Sudbury residents picked up free Christmas LED courtesy of Hydro One last month, and now those lights are being recalled because of safety concerns.
The recall is on Greenlight 36-Bulb Seasonal LED Light Strings.
There have been no reports of injury or property damage involving this product. However, due to possible safety concerns, Hydro One has decided to call back these lights and is warning people not to use them.
People who received Hydro One seasonal LEDs can phone toll-free 1-800-851-0064 and provide their name and address so the company can send them a postage-paid mailing label to return the lights in exchange for a gift card. When Hydro One receives their lights it will send them a gift card of equivalent or higher value.
