Watermain repairs at 601 Montée Principale in Chelmsford will result in the closure of one lane of traffic, the City of Greater Sudbury advised today.

Water service to residents will be maintained, but residents may notice some fluctuation in pressure and/or discoloured water for 24 hours, the city said.

In the event of discoloured water, residents are asked to run the faucet for several minutes to clear any sediment that may have accumulated.

Residents are also asked to conserve water while repairs are being done by not watering lawns, not washing cars and avoiding any other activity that requires significant amounts of water.
