Sudbury psychic medium Jay Lane will be hosting a fundraiser and black-tie dinner at the Caruso Club on Feb. 15 in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Family Room at Health Sciences North.
Jay has a passion for children and wants to help families especially in the North and all proceeds from the event will go to the RMHC Family Room.
“It breaks my heart when I think about any child not having what they need," said Lane. "I’m so inspired to be a part of this fundraiser and contribute to an organization that’s goal is to comfort sick children.”
Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto keeps families with seriously ill children close when they need each other most. It encompasses a house for 81 families in downtown Toronto and seven in-hospital family rooms across the GTA and in Northeastern Ontario.
The RMHC Family Room at Health Sciences North provides a welcoming space in the hospital where parents can rest and retreat just steps from where their sick child is being treated. This, in turn, supports their ability to be an active member of their child’s healthcare team.
"This event will provide healing and closure for people who have lost loved ones," said a news release from Jay Lane.
"It will prove that your loved ones are happy and at peace. The audience will experience true, from the gut, laughter when they realize how funny spirits can be."
Tickets for the event are available online only at mediumjaylane.com. Sales end Feb. 14 at 9 p.m.
This is a licensed event and guests must be 19 years of age or older.
