Indoor Kids Safe Halloween is back in Azilda tonight

Trick or treat out of the cold and off the streets

Kids Safe Halloween returns for another year to the Edgar Allan Leclair Community Centre and Arena (a.k.a. the Azilda Arena) tonight.

Local groups and businesses will distribute candy at the arena starting at 5:30 p.m. 

There will also be a haunted house and pumpkin carving contest. Entries in the contest can be dropped off at the arena between 4:30 and 5 p.m. this evening. 
First place is a $75 gift certificate for Mastermind Toys, with second and third place receiving $50 and $25 gift certificates. 

“This is a wonderful trick or treat opportunity, all indoors and out of the cold!” said a press release.

Operation Pumpkin Patrol will also be out on the streets of Azilda. 

Greater Sudbury Police, Greater Sudbury Fire Services, Citizens on Patrol and Ministry of Natural Resources vehicles will distribute candy to trick or treaters from 6-7 p.m.
