The TVO Kids Don?t Sit Still Tour is heading to Sudbury this weekend to put on their energetic and interactive stage show demonstrating to children that exercise and physical activity are essential to a healthy lifestyle.

The TVO Kids show how any form of exercise from walking to bike riding to team or individual sports is important to everyone ? even parents. Demonstrations and guest appearances by local athletes and teams have been incorporated into the show.

?Building on the success of the 2001-02 tour that traveled to 25 cities across Ontario and reinforced the importance of physical activity to over 20,000 fans, we?re pleased to announce our continuing partnership with Scotiabank,? said Isabel Bassett, chair and CEO of TVOntario. ?The TVO Kids Don?t Sit Still Tour powered by Scotiabank confirms TVO?s commitment to providing the province of Ontario with stimulating and educational content based on the Ontario educational curriculum.?

The event happens Sunday, Oct. 6, at 4 pm at the Navy League Hall. Call Steve Irwin, Scotiabank community manager, at 675-7220.
