Intern Annie returns! Thats right, I'm back and ready to jump back into life in the newsroom.
If you don't remember me from my time at Sudbury.com this past summer, I'm Adriana Duncan, but everyone calls me Annie. I'm a Confederation Secondary student who just happens to love photography. And that's why I'm back at Sudbury.com.
It feels like just yesterday that I started my journey as Intern Annie. I was always so unsure if I was going to fit in in the world of news reporting, but everything I learned and experienced in just the short time I was with Sudbury.com made me confident in my plans for the future.
My dreams of traveling and changing the world with my photography don't seem so farfetched now. I feel like my time here will bring me one step closer to realizing those dreams.
It was such a great learning opportunity being able to work with everyone that there was no doubt in my mind when I had the option to come back. Over the next few months, I hope to continue to learn how to investigate and write a variety of stories, expand my knowledge of videography and how videos are edited, and of course, continue taking pictures.
I have grown so much as a photographer and a writer, and I hope coming back will allow me to grow even more.
