There may still be a whole lot of the white stuff outside, but the Sudbury Horticultural Society is thinking ahead to the gardening season.
The group holds its “Is winter almost over?!” meeting at the Parkside Centre starting at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 (doors open at 1:15 p.m.).
The guest speaker Karen Shlemkevich, landscape architecture intern and former landscape designer with Azilda Greenhouses.
She will share her master's thesis research project on horticultural therapy and creating a green wall at a long-term care facility in Chelmsford.
Admission to the event is only $2 for non-members. Annual memberships are available for $15 at the door.
