Eat Local Sudbury is hoping its salvation is in the cards this weekend, when it hosts a unique fundraiser in support of its Love the Co-op/Save the Co-op campaign.
Attendees to the May 28 event will have their choice of a 15-20 minute sacred geometry card reading, a tarot card reading, a psychic reading, an astrology reading, or a 10-15 minute massage, plus three appetizers made with local ingredients.
Donating their metaphysical services are Richard Malette of Insight Astrology, Terra Kerani, a sacred geometry card reader, and Elena Crystalwolf, a spiritual psychic. The Motley Kitchen is providing the venue and delicious hors-d’oeuvres.
All proceeds go to Eat Local Sudbury.
The fundraiser takes place May 28 from 4-7 p.m. at the Motley Kitchen with reading or massage scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
Tickets are $50 per person and are available at Eat Local Sudbury and The Motley Kitchen until May 25. Eat Local Sudbury is located at 176 Larch Street and The Motley Kitchen is at 70 Young Street.
