It's PSW Day! Honouring local PSWs who are providing care in crisis

Sudbury.com photo gallery includes names and faces of just a fraction of the PSWs who continue to put the needs of others before their own

In light of COVID-19, Sudbury.com has been spotlighting various essential workers from our community in a new daily feature called Essential Worker of the Day.

We've received more than 100 nominations so far, which have included fast food employees, nurses, pharmacy assistants and hydro workers, just to name a few.

Today is PSW Day in Ontario and Sudbury.com would like to honour all the personal support workers that continue to show compassion during these trying times.

To show our appreciation we have made a photo gallery including the names and faces of just a fraction of the PSWs who continue to make sacrifices in order to care for some of the more vulnerable people in our community.

Thank you all for being on the frontlines on our behalf.

Do you know an essential worker who deserves to be recognized? Say thanks to someone you know who is a front-line health care worker, cashier or truck driver by nominating them for Sudbury.com's Essential Worker of the Day.

Email us a photo, their name, their job title and your words of thanks to holiver@sudbury.com. Please only send photos and information with permission.
