The Early Detection & Rapid Response Network of Ontario (EDRR) will host an aquatic invasive species workshop on Oct. 15 at the Living with Lakes Centre in Sudbury.
This free workshop will take a look at invasive species that are threatening Sudbury lakes, including Asian carps, round goby, Eurasian watermilfoil, Phragmites and many other aquatic invasives that are in or threatening the area.
Attendees will learn how to identify common invasive species, monitor for them with new tools and techniques, as well as prevent new aquatic invasive species from establishing in lakes.
