City firefighters are on the scene of a kitchen fire at the Regent Street McDonald's restaurant, an employee of Greater Sudbury Fire Services said in a tweet at 10:16 a.m. Friday morning.
Jesse Oshell said the fire at the South End fast food joint is under control.
"Traffic will be affected in this area," he said.
