The flag is raised at Tom Davies Square in celebration of the Knights of Columbus club's 100 year anniversary. Mayor John Rodriguez signed a proclamation for Knights of Columbus Week, April 12 to 18.
Several monetary donations were handed out to local charitable
organizations. Gerry Lougheed Jr. spoke about the importance of
being involved in our community to a crowd at Tom Davies
Square.
Festivities begin this Friday at 7 p.m. A mass will be held at Christ the King Church on Saturday at 3 p.m., followed by a cocktail hour and a banquet dinner at the Howard Johnson on Brady St.
