Charities in Greater Sudbury received a $25,000 donation from the Knights of Columbus on December 4.
For the past eight years, the Knights of Columbus Council 3909 of Walden/Copper Cliff have worked in partnership with Delta Bingo and Gaming to raise funds for local organizations. An excess of $75,000 has been donated since the partnership began.
Representatives from Maison McCulloch Hospice, Childhood/Enfance, the Alzheimer Society, Elgin Street Mission and Inner City Homes were at Delta Bingo and Gaming Tuesday to accept their donation at the presentation. Other organizations also received donations.
The Knights of Columbus Council 3909 thanked all patrons of Delta Bingo & Gaming for their support.
