Lanes will be open on Kingsway, despite ongoing construction

A note from the city to drivers about The Kingsway: both lanes will remain open this week in the east- and west-bound lanes. Only the centre turning lane will be closed.

Drivers can use both lanes in both directions for the remainder of the week to keep traffic flowing, a release said. Greater Sudbury will update drivers each week as work progresses, or when there's a significant change.

Work is expected to continue until the end of October. The ongoing repairs in include road reconstruction, curb, sidewalk and sanitary sewer repairs, as well as storm sewer upgrades.
