Students from Lasalle Secondary School and Adamsdale Public School who ride on certain bus routes have been asked to self-isolate up to and including Feb. 4 due to possible exposure to COVID-19.

Buses in the Greater Sudbury area are typically shared between several schools. The Rainbow District School Board said there are currently no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at either Lasalle or Adamsdale, and both schools remain open for in-person learning.

For Lasalle, the afternoon secondary run on Route L-364 has been cancelled. For Adamsdale, the L-106 (morning run) and L-104 (afternoon run) have been cancelled.

The affected students, their parents/guardians and relevant bus drivers have been notified. Public Health will follow up directly with parents/guardians of students on these bus routes. The school will follow up with families to ensure continuity of learning.
