Now’s the time to help map the future of recreation in the Lively/Walden area, with an online recreation survey capping at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

This is the second survey giving the community a chance to have their say on how $4 million from the sale of Meatbird Lake Park to Vale should be reinvested toward recreational opportunities.

The funds have been held in a city reserve and have been earmarked to improving leisure infrastructure in the Lively/Walden area. The responses collected will be shared to provide insight to the Lively Recreation Advisory Panel as they work with city staff to develop more specific recommendations for council’s consideration about what should be considered, and where they should be developed.

The survey and additional details regarding this effort can be found online at overtoyou.greatersudbury.ca/livelywalden. Paper copies can also be requested at any Citizen Service Centre or by phoning the city’s customer service line at 311
