The 17th annual Community Builders Awards of Excellence, which was supposed to take place March 12, is postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
The spread of the novel coronavirus has led to a confirmed COVID-19 case locally in an individual who attended the recent Prospectors and Developers Association Conference in Toronto.
In light of the recommendation for ‘social distancing,’ which is defined as “remaining out of congregate settings, avoiding mass gatherings and maintaining distance (6 feet or 2 meters) from others when possible”, and due to significant numbers of winners, sponsors and guests who attended the PDAC event from March 1-4, the event will be held at a future date to be determined.
