Lifeguard supervision ends at Greater Sudbury beaches this year

The City of Greater Sudbury wishes to inform residents that lifeguard supervision at municipal beaches ended last night. Effective Sunday, August 26 at 7 pm, there will be no lifeguard supervision at the following beaches.

Effective Sunday, August 26 at 7 pm, there will be no lifeguard supervision at the following beaches.

- Bell Park Main Beach and Moonlight Beach on Ramsey Lake

- Park Beach on Lake Nepahwin

- Kalmo (Sandy) Beach in Val Caron

- Meatbird Lake Park near Lively.

Any use of these beach areas for the rest of the year is at the participants' own risk.
