The City of Greater Sudbury wishes to inform residents that lifeguard supervision at municipal beaches ended last night.
Effective Sunday, August 26 at 7 pm, there will be no lifeguard supervision at the following beaches.
- Bell Park Main Beach and Moonlight Beach on Ramsey Lake
- Park Beach on Lake Nepahwin
- Kalmo (Sandy) Beach in Val Caron
- Meatbird Lake Park near Lively.
Any use of these beach areas for the rest of the year is at the participants' own risk.
