It’s never the wrong time of year to support the Salvation Army’s Kettle Campaign. The Lions Club of Sudbury recently made a $1,500 donation to the Christmas fundraiser that supports the community work of the charitable organization.

The Lions Club told Sudbury.com the funds were raised through volunteer efforts at Delta Bingo, Buzzy Browns’ Saturday porketta bingos and at various other events.

In other Lions Club of Sudbury news, the organization is approaching its 100th anniversary in 2024.
