WATCH: Chamber hosts ‘virtual fireside chat’ with Sudbury election candidates

Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, instead of its traditional in-person debates, the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce is holding virtual federal election candidates events via Zoom.

The chamber is billing these events as “virtual fireside chats.” 

The Sudbury riding event takes place tonight (Aug. 31) from 7-8:30 p.m.The Zoom link for the Sudbury riding chat can be found by clicking here.

The event is also being streamed live through the Chamber’s YouTube page, and Sudbury.com is carrying the livestream feed, so stay tuned.

The Nickel Belt riding event takes place Sept. 1 from 7-8:30 p.m. Check out the Zoom event for the Nickel Belt event here

There will be an opportunity for the audience to submit written questions to the candidates both prior to and during the event via the question and answer feature.
