A report released today from the Ontario Health Coalition tracks data regarding COVID-19 outbreaks in long-term care homes in Ontario. The stats are sobering: 436 deaths, 3,783 infections and 80 large outbreaks. Of course, these statistics are simply a snapshot in time. The pandemic is far from over.
This week, an outbreak was declared at St. Joseph's Villa in Sudbury after a staff member and a resident both tested positive for the virus.
