Sudbury HVAC company 669 HEAT will be collecting canned food donations at every home they visit during the month of September.

Service technicians will be accepting a can of food from each home they visit – if the homeowner wishes to donate. They will also have a food collection bin available for drop-offs at their location at 1360 Kelly Lake Road.

“We’ve been in business over 25 years,” said Brian Eadie, owner of 669 HEAT.

“It’s important to us to give back to the local community. That’s why we decided to run a month-long food drive, and help collect food for the Sudbury Food Bank,”.

For each can donated by the community, 669 HEAT will match it.

"We are hoping our ‘1-for-1 canned food drive’ will help the food bank. It is such a great cause, we thought that would be a great initiative to support," said Eadie.

"We also like that our service technicians can be a part of it."
