The Sudbury SHARE organization — Sudbury Hospitality Association of Restaurant Entrepreneurs — has issued a heartfelt thank you to the hundreds of local guests that have allowed the local restaurants to donate more than $7,800 to the Maison McCulloch Hospice through the annual Springalicious event.

That's where customers who patronized local SHARE restaurants had a portion of their bills donated to the local hospice.

Since Maison McCulloch Hospice has become our local charity of choice the SHARE group has donated to date a grand total of $34,015, said a news release.

SHARE said it prides itself "on supporting our community one bite at a time." The next big share event will be “Summerlicious” and will take place July 17-30, said the news release.

Funds raised during this event will benefit the Maison McCulloch Hospice. Diners can support SHARE year round, not just during dining events, by visiting SHARE’s impact page and clicking on the charity of their choice, said the news release.

The local SHARE restaurants include Bela Vita Cucina, Di Gusto, Hardrock 42 Gastropub, JD's Southern Smokehouse & The Pickled Pig, M.I.C. Canadian Eatery & Whisky Pub, Mr. Prime Rib, The Kouzzina, Tony V’s Pizza and Restaurant and Ristorante Verdicchio.
