Local school bus consortium has more than 30 active route cancellations

Two new bus route cancellations to announce today

Sudbury Student Services Consortium has announced two more school bus route cancellations due to COVID-19 exposures.

There are now 34 active school bus route cancellations. Many are due to COVID-19 exposures, while there are 13 routes cancelled this week due to bus driver shortages brought on by the impacts of COVID-19.

The two new school bus route cancellations are as follows:

  • COVID-19 exposure on the afternoon elementary portion of bus route L804. The route is cancelled and will resume Friday, Dec. 17. The affected schools are Hélène Gravel, MacLeod and St-Denis.
  • COVID-19 exposure on the afternoon elementary portion of bus route L008. The route is cancelled and will resume Friday, Dec. 17. The affected schools are Holy Trinity and Jean Ethier Blais.
