Health Sciences North (HSN) Foundation, HSN Volunteer Association, NEO Kids Foundation and Northern Cancer Foundation are announced the winner of the inaugural June HSN 50/50 Cash Lottery for the North.
Larry and Jane Fisher of Sudbury took home $28,450 with the winning ticket number A-1576538.
“I am absolutely thrilled! I have never won anything. What a wonderful surprise,” said Larry.
“Supporting health care in my community and winning over $28,000 is a win/win in my eyes.”
Larry, an employee of HSN for over 35 years, is proud to support the hospital, and the work of the foundations and volunteer groups in ensuring that the people throughout Northeastern Ontario continue to have access to quality health care.

The July 50/50 cash lottery is now live with a guaranteed minimum prize of $5,000 for the winning individual. Tickets can be purchased online at www.HSN5050.ca from the comforts of home for 10 for $10, 30 for $20 and 100 for $40.
The jackpot will be updated online in real-time for each month’s draw and will continue to grow as more people participate.
Everyone is a winner when supporting the HSN 50/50 Cash Lottery for the North, with half of the jackpot total each month going to the drawn ticket holder and the other half going to support patient care at HSN.
Funds raised will make a difference in the lives of those living with cancer, how the tiniest patients receive specialized pediatric care and ensuring equipment is in place when needed to provide quality patient care.
Residents across Ontario over the age of 18 have the opportunity to purchase HSN 50/50 Cash Lottery for the North tickets online for a chance to win. Tickets for the July draw are available for purchase until July 30 at 11:59 p.m.
The winning ticket will be drawn on July 31 at 11 a.m. and posted on www.HSN5050.ca.
