Minnow Lake Days organizers are looking for young ladies between the ages of 13 and 21 to take part in the Minnow Lake Days Pageant.
The event will take place at Minnow Lake Place (former St. Jean School), Friday, July 26. Entrants will be judged on their involvement in the community and school, scholastic record and achievements, plus personality and deportment.
More than $2,000 in prizes will be awarded as well as a $500 scholarship. To be eligible, contestants must live in the Minnow Lake area, which extends from downtown to Moonlight Beach between The Kingsway and Ramsey Lake. To register, call the Minnow Lake Hair Salon at 524-7999.
