If you’re looking for a bit of fun this weekend, Capreol Days is on today and tomorrow.
A new committee took the reins of the more than 30-year-old event this year, and a release from the group states they expect “well over 5,000 attendees over the course of the weekend.”
This year, the event will feature a pro-wrestling event and Comic Con-style day featuring Dadpool (a Deadpool-like character) and his car, as well as a vendor-filled street fair, live music
dancing, food booths and carnival style games for all ages.
A scary carnival Fun House from the producers of Northern Screams and Capreol Terror Train, the Capreol market, ducky races, a dunk tank, pancake breakfast and a “Valley’s Got Talent” competition will be on offer, as well as a presentation by Northern Exotics, a patio jam session, karaoke, baseball tournament, fireworks and more.
Admission to most of the events is $5, and sponsorship opportunities are open until July 15.
