Most gas stations in Greater Sudbury continue to charge 107.6 today, according to GasBuddy.com.

We had received reports from readers that some gas stations had bumped their prices up significantly yesterday, and indeed, two Val Caron gas stations — Mr. Gas and Esso — are still listed on the website as having charged 114.6 and 114.9, respectively, as of almost a day ago.

But it seems most stations didn't follow suit, or if they did raise their prices, the spike was short lived.

The cheapest gas in the city is 105.5 in Chelmsford. As is often the case, gas is generally cheaper in Chelmsford and Lively.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas ranges in price from 100.5 to 101.9.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 104.2. The cheapest gas in the province is 88.9 in Windsor. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 129.9 in Marathon.
