Lorne St. Petro-Canada robbed early Monday morning

Suspect fled on foot with money and cigarettes

Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a robbery at the Petro Canada located at the intersection of Lorne and Douglas streets (287 Lorne St.) early this morning.

At 6:04 a.m., a man entered the gas station, wearing a mask and brandishing a knife. He fled on foot with money and cigarettes, police said on their Twitter account.

A K9 track was conducted, but the man was not located.

The suspect is described as being between 5-10 and 6-0 tall, with a thin build, and wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and white shoes.
