The Lougheed Foundation has donated $10,000 to fund a special tuition assistance bursary at local independent school Sudbury Christian Academy.

The school’s principal, Luke Morse, said Sudbury Christian Academy receives no government funding, and depends entirely on tuition payments and donor support to operate.

“Unfortunately, not every Sudbury family can afford to pay tuition for a world-class elementary program,” he said.

“With this in mind, the Lougheed family hopes to put a quality SCA education within reach of anyone who chooses to apply for this bursary.”
