LU to give Aline Chrétien honorary doctorate

The wife of the prime minister, Aline Chrétien will receive an honorary doctorate of laws from Laurentian University at the fall convocation ceremony set for Nov. 1.
The wife of the prime minister, Aline Chrétien will receive an honorary doctorate of laws from Laurentian University at the fall convocation ceremony set for Nov. 1.

Chrétien was born in Saint-Boniface-de-Shawinigan, and has represented her country for the past 30 years.

She is fluent in Italian and Spanish as well as English and French.

She is a supporter of the Learning Through the Arts program which is designed to help students achieve their potential in school.
