The City of Greater Sudbury is continuing its regular maintenance of watermains in Sudbury?s south end and Gatchell neighbourhoods.
Watermains will be cleaned from June 1 to 30, between 11 pm and 6 am.
Notices will be delivered door-to-door at least 24 hours prior to the swabbing of watermains in each neighbourhood. Residents are asked to follow the directions in the notice.
Watermains will be cleaned in the Gatchell area from June 1 to 11, in the Southview Drive area from June 13 to 22, and in the Moonglo Subdivision and St. Charles Lake area from June 22 to 30.
Low water pressure and water discolouration may be experienced during this time. Residents are asked to run their cold water for a short time to clear any discoloured water.
Should low water pressure and discoloration persist, contact the Public Works department at 560-2022.
