On Sunday, the Alzheimer Society Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay & Districts will host its annual Walk for Alzheimer’s.
There will be games, prizes, the grill will be fired up and, of course, there's the walk itself.
Funds raised at the Walk for Alzheimer's go towards supporting crucial programs and support services for the more than 5,000 people living with the disease (or a related dementia) in Greater Sudbury, as well as their families and caregivers.
Events will be hosted in Sudbury, North Bay and Little Current.
Sudbury's Walk for Alzheimer’s gets underway at 12 p.m. on June 5 at the Alzheimer Society Sudbury, 960B Notre Dame Ave.
