The Social Planning Council of Sudbury is hosting its seventh annual Stone Soup Luncheon April 5 at the Steelworkers' Hall on Frood Rd.
The event, which raises money for the Community Emergency Fund, takes place from 12 to 1 pm.
Volunteers with the Catholic Charities Soup Kitchen will prepare great soup from stock and vegetables which have been donated by local business owners.
Over the past seven years, this event has raised close to $60,000 for the emergency fund.
