Milman Industries donates over 2,000 pieces of PPE to frontline workers

Items intended for hospital staff as well as local police, fire and paramedic service workers

Milman Industries Inc. in partnership with the Mansour family will be donating 2,350 pieces of personal protective equipment to support frontline workers in their fight against COVID-19. 

“It is mandatory that we all do what we can to help mitigate the spread of this virus and that we help to support our frontline workers and medical professionals,” said Milad Mansour, president of Milman Industries Inc. in a press release. 

“These frontline workers place their own health at risk to ensure that our community remains strong and healthy. By working together there is nothing we cannot do.”

This donation of critical equipment has been allocated to the Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS), Health Sciences North (HSN), Greater Sudbury Fire Service (GSFS) and Greater Sudbury Paramedic Services.

The donation will consist of the following:

  • 400 KN95 masks and 400 Nitrile medical examination gloves to GSPS
  • 500 Nitrile medical examination gloves to HSN
  • 300 KN95 masks to GSFS
  • 100 KN95, 250 medical face shields and 400 Nitrile medical inspection gloves to local paramedics
