Miner's Mayhem, a fun and challenging obstacle course race, returns to Adanac Ski Hill this Saturday, June 17.

This race is a physical challenge for individuals and groups, and includes a 6.5-km trail and hill run with various obstacles to navigate along the way.

New for this year's race is the "17 in 17," as there will be 17 obstacles for racers to overcome.

Again this year, the event will incorporate a team aspect, with a “no miner is left behind” attitude, and team members start and finish the race together. This year will feature a new start format with a wave registration process.

Racers can pick their wave time (hardcore athletes will still be in the first waves).

Race kit pickup day is Friday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Adventure 365 (444 Barrydowne Rd.). For racers coming in from out of town, kits can be picked up from 7 - 8 a.m. on race day.

There is no parking at Adanac, and participants are asked to respect the local residents and not park on neighbouring streets. The lot at M.I.C., located at 200 Falconbridge Rd., is available for parking, with a free shuttle service to Adanac.

The shuttle will provide free round trip service to participants and spectators. It will start at 7 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. (or when the last of the participants is finished).
