City Councillor Ron Bradley says the Ministry of Natural Resources should be charged over the mishandling of a dead moose at Windy Lake earlier this month.
Ministry staff were notified but did not remove the carcass for several weeks. Later the dead animal was dragged to the side of Old Cartier Road. Bradley charges employees from MNR are responsible.
?MNR is the recipient of all monies collected from fishing and hunting licences yet (it) refuses to deal with dead animals appropriately,? says Bradley. ?This show of irresponsibility offends me in that, had any other resident been caught dumping the carcass, charges would have been laid, but who will charge the ministry.?
