Gas prices at many local gas stations have spiked to 116.9 over the past day, according to GasBuddy.com.
However, there's still some gas stations with cheaper prices, the least expensive of which is Mac's in Lively, which is charging 110.6.
In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas ranges in price from 106.7 to 108.6.
The average price of gas in Ontario today is 109.3. The cheapest gas in the province is 92.7 in Hagersville. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 129.9 in Auburn and Nepean.
