The Freedom Riders Motorcycle Association of Northern Ontario recently presented a $3,000 cheque to Sudbury Regional Hospital's Hand and Upper Limb Service program for their burn scar garment fund.

Over the past five years, the motorcycle group has raised more than $9,200 for the cause.

"Thanks to the Freedom Riders Motorcycle Association for their donation to our Burn Scar Garment Fund,” Susan Tyndall, occupational therapist with the Hand and Upper Limb Service, said in a press release.

“This is the fifth year that they have chosen our fund to donate to, and through their generosity, the fund has been able to help purchase burn garments for those children in Greater Sudbury who are in need."

“We are once again pleased to support this worthwhile cause,” Freedom Riders treasurer Jim Robinson said.
